Most rented homes are family houses on the estates: two to four bedrooms, a garden and a drive. Tenants are families, couples and people working at the port, the yards and the industrial estates, many of whom need parking for a van. Houses tend to let to tenants who stay. Outstanding from start to finish
The apartment exceeded our expectations with its modern design and thoughtful touches throughout. Walking distance to both the seafront and shopping areas made it incredibly convenient. Clear instructions, responsive host. Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Bournemouth.
Modern, clean and superbly located
Lovely apartment in very close proximity to Bournemouth town centre and beach. Modern, very clean and well equipped. Onsite parking was a big plus, making it easy to explore the area. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
Second stay, and we'll be back
Great apartment at a perfect location. Jack and the team were so easy to deal with. This is our second time at this apartment block and we'll definitely be returning. Clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Estate agents in Upton: questions
Is Upton in Poole or Dorset Council?
Upton has a Poole postal address but sits in Dorset Council's area, in the parish of Lytchett Minster and Upton. Council tax, licensing and planning are Dorset Council's, not BCP's. Upton Country Park itself is owned by BCP Council.
Is Upton a good place to rent a family home?
For families who drive, yes. Houses usually have gardens and drives, the schools are local, the country park is on the doorstep and the A35 gets you to Poole quickly. Tenants without a car should check the bus routes and the walk to Hamworthy station.
Who buys homes in Upton?
First-time buyers, young families moving up from a flat, and investors buying freehold houses to let to working tenants. Downsizers buy the bungalows. Most homes are freehold, which keeps a purchase simpler than a leasehold flat.
What is the nearest station to Upton?
Hamworthy station, a short drive away, on the main line to Poole, Bournemouth and London Waterloo one way and Wareham and Weymouth the other. Buses link Upton with Poole town centre and Poole station.
Do you let and manage homes in Upton?
Yes. We let and manage homes in Upton on the same terms as across Poole, and handle Dorset Council's rules rather than BCP's where they differ. Fees are confirmed in writing before you instruct us.
